The Application Process
At Martha Cook we are home to both undergraduate and graduate students.
There is no separate application required for Martha Cook. Simply complete the U-M residence hall housing application and indicate your interest in the Martha Cook Building. You might find a checkbox on the application, or you can let us know directly by emailing us at [email protected].
- New U-M Students: The housing application window for new students starts in April for the fall and November for the winter term. Visit the Housing Application Instructions to learn how to get started and review important dates.
- Current U-M Students: The early application period for continuing students starts in January for the fall. Explore the Returning Resident Housing page for details on this timeline and required steps.
- Transferring Residence Halls: Did you know that your contract is transferable to other residence halls? If after the school year begins, you remain interested in a transfer to Martha Cook, you will have the opportunity to complete a Room Change Request form, which is accommodated based on availability and interest. This form typically becomes available a few weeks after the semester starts.
